cyberbully video

My opinion on the movie is that this stuff really happens, i would no i have been through the whole thing of trying to killing myself over what people say, my wasn't over the Internet but in real life. Some of it was over dramatic but not all at the end you will actually be amazed how many people will stand up for themselves an others but not always. I take this movie more seriously after i attempted to kill myself an i don't find is funny or silly or anything because its a serious issue. Nobody should have to feel like there is no point of living because of other people starting stuff over the internet or in person.
Some of the information we talked about compares to this movie about them passing laws for cyberbulling because of people trying to kill them self. Some differences are that when this happens its not always this dramatic and so intense. yes this movie was similar to some of the cases we have discussed in class.

podcast

I listen to Christina Jones talking about Cal's win against Stanford women's volleyball. It talked about all the moves the team used against Stanford and how about Stanford probably wont go all the way to the champion chips like they did last year.  An yes i did like learning about stuff like this, people probably make podcast instead of writing because its easier and more people will hear about it. i think this information is reliable.

summary

I read a story about how AT&T only gives you three gigabytes of data for their unlimited planned and if they go over that much internet they get charged for the extra internet. IF you are one of the people who use the most internet out of all the customers of AT&T there internet slows down and can get blocked or stop working.

reflection

I have learned a lot about social networking, security settings, password safety, netiquette, cyber bullying, ID Theft in the last couple of weeks.  That I think you guys should know about. You should always use common sense and treat people how you want to be treated. You should always think twice about what you are about to put on the internet before you post or saying to somebody. Should never give out any personal information especially to be you don’t know like your name, address, date of birth, social security number. People can try to steal your identity even thought your young they can still try an steal your identity. If somebody you don’t know keeps trying to talk to you or send you inappropriate stuff tell an adult asap.

netiquetting

Netiquette is some rules you should follow while using the internet but don’t have to. It can affect everybody in the work but mostly teenagers. Some examples of good netiquette are talking to people politely about something you don’t like that they did on a website and making sure you look and see what people are writing on a website before you comment so you aren’t rude. Some poor examples of netiquette are starting a flam and being rude to people and calling them out to everyone and not in private.
